At Eastwood Baptist Church, our mission is to develop relationships to impact people with Biblical answers to life’s challenges. One of the main ways that happens is through gathering together as a body of believers in worship. Matthew 18:20 tells us: "For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them." We gather as a church body on Sunday mornings and Wednesdays night to worship through music and hear from God's Word the answers to whatever problems we may face. By gathering, we also have the chance to nurture those authentic relationships with fellow Christians who can support us during difficult times and help us grow in our faith.
Sunday Morning Small Groups is Eastwood's foundational strategy helping people understand all that Jesus had done for them. These groups are available for Preschool up to our Senior Adults. Small Groups do just what the name implies. People gather together in small groups to study God's word and great friendships are developed. The small group structure provides opportunities for you to connect with other people who share similar interests and are facing similar concerns. Our teachers do a great job of applying the Scripture in a relevant, practical manner. We encourage every member of Eastwood to be actively involved in a Sunday Morning Small Group.
At Eastwood, we believe that the local church is at the center of God's Heart and plan for reaching the world with His love. Therefore, we are committed to a comprehensive strategy for achieving a global impact based on Acts 1:8. "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in Judea and Samaria, and even to the ends of the earth."
